The Morton Grove Park District offers 8 evenings of exceptional musical entertainment each summer as part of its FREE Tunes on Tuesday summer concert series. Concerts are held on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm during the months of June and July. Concerts are held at Harrer Park Pavilion in the north end of the park. Welcome the Holiday Season at our annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony! The 23rd annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony welcomes in the winter holiday season. This annual event has been kicking-off Elk Grove Village’s holiday season since 1998. Following the concert, Mayor Johnson will throw the switch to light up the Village's Holiday Tree and turn on over 250,000 lights around the Municipal Complex, Elk Grove Public Library, and the Elk Grove Park District Pavilion. A special fireworks display will follow the tree lighting, announcing the entrance of Santa and his elves.
